


Maria's Private Class - November
In preparation for the upcoming exhibition at Wimbledon Art Studios, we have several key tasks to complete to ensure Maria’s studio is ready for her debut. Below is a detailed plan to guide the final preparations:
Artwork Finalisation: Completing Maria’s recent pieces, including any final retouching and spray-sealing for display.
Labelling: Creating and printing labels for each artwork.
Lighting Adjustments: Replacing current white spotlight bulbs with warm lighting to better highlight the paintings.
Framing: Framing the latest collection to enhance presentation.
Display Setup: Drilling holes to mount new paintings and arranging Maria’s sketches and paintings for optimal presentation.
Adding Poetry Prints: Designing and printing some of Maria’s poems to add an extra dimension to the exhibition space.
Studio Preparation: Cleaning, tidying, and setting up the studio to create an inviting environment for visitors.
Maria’s Availability: I’ll need Maria to come in on the 9th and 10th to finalise one remaining piece.
Agreed Dates:
31st October, Thursday – 1-3pm to work on completing the figure painting.
1st November – from 10:30am to retouch and seal five recent paintings
4th November – I will replace 24 spotlights, make labels, and arrange displays (Maria don’t need to be around )
8th November – 3 hours to frame all new 5x paintings and poems ( Maria don’t need to be around)
9th November – I need Maria at the studio from 10am
10th November - Studio cleaning
Materials:
5 pcs wooden frames (30 × 40 cm) - I can order frames at a reduced cost from my supplier and assemble them in the studio.
